Back-end Engineer

• Developed and maintained software solutions for both univeristy affiliated and external clients, ensuring scalability and high-peformance platforms.
• Collaborated across functional teams to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and impllement new features in the Spring Boot framework, to optimize existing processes.
• Wrote clean, maintanable code while contributing to the architecture and improving system peformance.
• Worked closely alongsdie management ot ensure timely delivery of projects, consistently meeting deadlines with high quality software.

Tech Academia x DotPlot Hackathon

Full-Stack Engineer

• Selected out of 83 applicants to partake in a Software & Data Engineering Accelerator Programme in collaboration with DotPlot, an award winning MedTech company developing a medical device to help detect early-stage breast cancer.
• Learned the fundamentals of developing tech products from scratch, covering the product development lifecycle, user-centric design, MVP & Agile, and applied learning competing in a hackathon.
• Developed a Patient Data Management and Visualisation application to allow hospital staff to easily access patient details, breast cancer history, and visualise their breast lesions on a 3D model to assist with detection of brain cancer.
• Led back-end development using the Django framework, and SQlite3, while also designing the front-end UI and assisting the team in its implementation using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Successfully competed in a hackathon, applying learned principles to create innovative solutions under pressure.
